The project focused on replacing aging equipment with modern, energy-efficient chillers, air handling units, and a building management system (BMS) that allows for better climate control and monitoring throughout the facility.
New energy-efficient Trane chillers installed
Special attention was given to critical areas such as operating theatres, intensive care units, and isolation wards, ensuring strict compliance with NHS standards for airflow and infection control.
The upgrade not only reduced the hospital’s carbon footprint but also enhanced the reliability and performance of its environmental systems, contributing to a safer and more comfortable environment for both patients and staff.
